In our efforts to find materials and techniques to repair damaged teeth in a way that most closely mimics the original design, we have adopted a procedure we describe as the “un-crown.” This process allows us to maintain more of the natural tooth than a traditional crown preparation would and at the same time eliminate most of the post-operative sensitivity often associated with crowns.
